Ciracle Jeju Volcanic Clay Mask Review & Photos
Ciracle Jeju Volcanic Clay Mask ($24.99 for 135g) is a clay-based mask that tightens the pores and prevents blemishes. The mask contains 6700mg of Jeju volcanic ashes, a rare ingredient found only in Jeju Island, Korea. The volcanic ash clay is known for cleaning up and tightening pores and controlling oily skin. Jeju volcanic ash clay masks are currently the beauty trend in Korea, and several cosmetic brands have already released similar products. As I know, Ciracle’s product contains the greatest amount of volcanic ashes—which determines the effectiveness of the product—compare to other volcanic clay masks in the market as of today.
* Properties of Jeju volcanic ashes
– removes dead skin cells
– cleans up & contracts widen pores
– absorbs sebum, sweat & odor
– soothes blemishes
– prevents blackheads & skin troubles
– moisturizes the skin, giving softer & smoother skin
– purifies & whitens skin tone
The texture of the mask is very buttery and creamy; I have used several pore cleansing masks before, but this one has the best texture of all. It’s like thick whipped cream. Love the texture so much! Also the layering on skin goes on evenly. It’s like spreading frosting on a cake. The expiration date of the mask is 3 years after the manufacturing date (the manufacturing date & expiration date are both printed on the bottom of the box); however it is best to be used within 12 months after opening. I recommend using this product after using Ciracle Pore Control Blackhead Off Sheet—first you remove the blackheads, then you tighten the widen pores. Perfect combo!
How to use:
1. Wash your face and tone your skin with a skin toner.
2. Apply the product on your face (2mm thickness). There are several ways you can use the clay mask:
l Use around the nose and forehead (the T-zone area): to tighten the pores
l Spread small amount it over blemishes/acne: to soothe the blemishes
l Use it all over your face: for whitening effect, smoother skin
3. Let the mask set for 5 to 20 minutes. You may feel a tingling sensation;
this is normal as the natural extracts and special ingredients are actively removing the dead skin cells.
If excess irritation or redness occurs, stop using the product. Do not use over injured or infected skin area.
4. Wash off the mask.
5. Use 1-2 times per week for dry/normal skin. Use 2-3 times per week for oily skin.
This is the best product I have used of Ciracle. I now have no wonders to why it’s the number one best-selling product. I used it around the nose and a few spots over my blemishes. I was very surprised how my nose area got so smooth. No more dead skin cells around the nose! (I have always had problems with that. I hated how the foundation and powder would not set evenly and gets clogged up around the nose area due to the rough skin.) Also it moisturizes the area so you don’t feel the dryness, which is usually felt after using a mask. The redness of my blemishes decreased as well. For more reviews on this product, click here.
